Second Life Writers Group

I have just initiated a writers group in Secon dLife called Oasis Writers Guild. It is an invitation only group for peer critiquing. I have patterned it like the Real Life writers group I am in. The goal is to assist the participants, who shoulc be very serious about getting published, in getting their work polished and ready for submission. I will steer some of the useful information I get from the RL group into the SL group.

If you are a Second Life fan, stop by the EarthPath Meditation Garden for information. Just click on the corkboard outside the single gate for notecards.

Good journey,

New Works in Progress

I have started three new short stories. One of them doesn’t even have a working title, but i snearly completed. The other two are Lightning and Seekers-The Mirror. I have completed the first draft of Lightning and will have it completed by th end of the month, but it may be a while fbefore I can publishe it in Second Life, since it is for a contest. The same is true for Seekers. It is for a contest ending the last of August. Seems I’m getting really involved in contests, for some reason. Well, at least I’m writing. Yay!

The Penmaster published in SL!

Greetings!

I have completed the publication of The Penmaster for Second Life. In addition, I have successfully created ebooks of all my currently SL-published short stories, so you can purchase them right from my web site. I am using PayPal to sponsor my sales, so you will need a PayPal account. Just select your purchase(s) and you will be taken to the PayPal site to complete your order. I will email you with your purchase as soon as I receive your request.

Good journey,

I’ve been busy writing and updating things in SL. Haven’t done too much in the way of cleaning, but that’s no surprise! I edited The Midnight Stone and got it published in SL. Yay! I should have The Penmaster done shortly as well. Look for it inworld.

In Progress

When I sat down to organize my writing projects, I discovered I had a nearly completed short story in addition to what I though I had. Yay! So, I added it to the list of “In Progress” works, have created a cover for it, and am working on completing that one, so I can get it published in SL ASAP.

Once I have finished that, I will complete revisions on The Penmaster. I should have both stories done and published by the end of the month, if all goes well. I am also looking into a way for you to purchaseebook versions of the stories from the web, so watch for ebook updates.

Good journey,
Marielle
